UK Trade Mark Attorney

Jessica Kong is a UK Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, with an honours degree in Biochemistry with Biotechnology and a Masters of Science degree in the Management of Intellectual Property.

Jessica began her career in private practice, before becoming in-house trade mark manager for the UK’s leading sports retailer. She advises on contentious and non-contentious trade mark matters in the UK and on International applications, including portfolio management, IP due diligence, trade mark clearance and registration, enforcement, opposition and infringement. She also advises on online infringement issues, such as domain name complaints, keyword advertising and social media infringement take down requests. Her in-house experience has enabled her to approach matters from a business and commercial perspective to assist her clients in implementing trade mark strategies. She has worked in a Chinese IP law firm which has provided insight into the enforcement and management of Chinese trade marks. Jessica is a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys. She qualified as a UK Chartered Trade Mark Attorney in 2012 and joined Baron Warren Redfern in 2022.
